Urgh, mp3 hates 8kb/s audio files. The render doesn't sound very good lemme see if I can resample it to 48k and then render to mp3 for a better result yee haw.

Edit: I have reupped a better render! Should be good now :)

i like bytebeat entries that arent just "sequencing engine to make tune" like this and yet offer a bit more than your 4 second repeating bar with little variation like the early days of bytebeat. struck a happy medium!
althougn, like the early days, it is 9min 48seconds haha

this makes me feel like i'm listening to somebody go ham on a modular synthesizer from the 1960s (good)

i liked the first half, with the notes, a fair bit more than sweeping noise land but i can tell you had fun making this and that counts for a lot

This might be the best bytebeat I've heard to date -- there's a clear underlying structure but also a huge amount of variety and dynamism within that structure.

There's an emotional element in the bytes. The nice melody starts as joyful as can be, then it slowly deteriorates to depression like an uncanny mr. incredible meme. I love the creepiness in that part. woah why is it going up UH UHHH WOAH AAAA IT'S SPEEDCORE NOW!!! BOYS WE'RE GOING TO PLAAAAAAAAAAAID

Waltz of a man whose brain is gradually degrading from schizophrenia, in the style of an early bytebeat. Very unusual!

There's undoubtedly some meaning behind all the samples... every time the song loops, it gets more and more dysfunctional, with more strange noises appearing (more notably on the right ear), and the melody gets higher and higher pitched like something is coming... it somewhat resembles something sthephanshi already pointed out. If I were here during the voting period, it'd definitely get at least 6s
